Welcome to our cooking and baking school, conveniently located in downtown Paris, steps to a metro station. This former old grocery store set at the ground floor of a classic Parisian building has been entirely renovated, transformed into a bright, modern and perfectly equipped kitchen to welcome small groups up to 8 people.
Classes are taught in English by our talented woman Chef graduated from reputed French culinary Institute. She takes time to review the recipes step by step, and to provide her personal tips to succeed in the techniques.
If the French cuisine is reputed to be difficult, in signing this program you will understand that it’s not ! Recipes we have chosen are simplified for home cooks and include the ingredients that you will find easily in your country. Cooking classes are hands-on, scheduled on Tuesdays and Fridays, from 10:30am to 2pm. It’s the perfect time to cook a well-balanced French meal prepared with fresh seasonal produce from the market.
Sample menus: Vegetable puff tartlet with parmesan cream, Haddock millefeuille style, grapefruit and Granny Smith apple, Artichokes “Barigoule”, Pan-fried veal chop served with light celeriac purée, Veal fillet served with a ginger sauce, crispy potato pancakes, Green asparagus Risotto, Rhubarb tartlets topped with hazulnut crumble and raspberries sauce, Salty-buttered shortbread with strawberries, Sautéed cherries with green cardamom and cinnamon served with hazelnut crispy biscuit. Please do not forget to mention your likes, dislikes and food restrictions or allergies on the booking form!
PROGRAM PRICE: $205 per person
Tasting lunch includes a starter, a main course, and a dessert follows the class. The lunch is accompanied by mineral water, white or red wine, and coffee or tea.
